| I am a foreigner thinking of starting my own business in Singapore. Which pass would you recommend? The singapore employment pass or singapore entrepass? |

Well that depends on which pass you are eligible for.
The Singapore Employment Pass is for individuals with good educational and professional background.
The Singapore EntrePass is for individuals with good entrepreneurial background but who lack good education and are unable to qualify under Employment Pass category. Additionally, the EntrePass has stricter evaluation criteria such as business idea, business plan, prior relevant background, minimum paid-up capital of S$ 50,000, minimum 30% shareholding in the company and that business must be registered as a Singapore private limited company. |
